MChemA Candidates set up New Food Complaints Lab at Wolverhampton

MChemA candidates Emma Downie and Sylvester McQueen have been getting to grips with examining food complaints by setting up their own lab.

The new lab, which has been set up at PASS Wolverhampton, will complement the existing complaints lab in London and will provide an excellent opportunity for both candidates to hone their skills as well as increasing capacity for the ever-growing number of food complaint samples.

The lab will also act as a training lab for new PASS MChemA candidates coming through in the near future.

In the meantime Emma and Sylvester have been spending time at both Norwich and Wolverhampton labs learning different analytical techniques and benefiting from mentoring by public analysts at both sites
